Brian Haupt
Brian Haupt is a Senior Carpenter at TQC, bringing over 20 years of carpentry experience to the team. With a background in diesel mechanics, Brian has been with TQC for 12 years, earning a reputation for his versatility and tireless work ethic. His friendly demeanor and positive attitude make him a favorite among colleagues and clients.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys tinkering with mechanics and small engine repair.
Fun Fact: Brian has a passion for food—he can out-eat anyone and somehow maintains an enviable physique! He also enjoys collecting antiques, adding a touch of history to his life.
Josh Boling
Josh Boling is the Project Manager at TQC, expertly overseeing projects from the design phase through to warranty. A graduate of Bowling Green State University, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a double major in Marketing and Finance. While in college, Josh proudly represented the university at the national level in his field.
With a background that includes running his own construction business and working on commercial building and restaurant projects, Josh brings a wealth of experience to TQC. He is dedicated to enhancing the remodeling experience for clients by maintaining open communication and setting clear expectations, ensuring that the process is both seamless and enjoyable. His commitment to making clients’ visions a reality is what leaves a lasting impression.
Outside of work, Josh cherishes quality time with his wife and son.
Fun Fact: He is currently building a 1,600 sq. ft. addition to his own home!
Brenda Hinz
Scott Lewis
Scott Lewis is a Senior Designer at TQC, holding a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Bowling Green State University, where he was an active member of the American Institute of Architecture Students. Scott began his journey in the construction field in 2007, gaining valuable experience throughout his college years. After graduating, he worked as an Associate Project Manager, focusing on both light commercial and residential projects.
At Total Quality Construction, Scott excels as the Project Designer and Project Coordinator, where he is responsible for drafting and designing all construction plans in-house. He also manages all pre-construction tasks, ensuring a seamless transition from design to execution. His combination of technical skills and project management expertise makes him a vital asset to the TQC team.
When not working, Scott enjoys coaching football and track, and spending time with his growing family.
Fun Fact: Scott is a big teddy bear and the perfect girl dad!
Scott Hinz
Scott Hinz is the Estimator and Owner of TQC, with deep roots in the construction trades from a young age. After graduating high school, he began his career as a carpenter’s apprentice with a family member. Over the years, he worked for various contractors, progressing through several roles to become a carpenter foreman. Scott has extensive experience building houses, commercial buildings, and a wide range of carpentry projects. He later earned a degree in Business Management, graduating with honors.
Scott holds multiple licenses, including those for the City of Toledo and the State of Michigan as a Remodeling Contractor. Additionally, he serves on the board of the Professional Remodelers Organization (PRO) and the Better Business Bureau (BBB), contributing his expertise to the industry.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys cheering on his daughter as she practices gymnastics, both at home and with her team. He also has a passion for music—both listening to and playing it.
Fun Fact: Scott plays the drums in a rock and roll band!
